i joined weight watchers, where you get a points limit for each day, it worked really well for me as i could eat what i wanted as long as i didnt go over my limit. you excercise you get a point added on(the points are calculated) its online and has real good recipes too. it worked for me but i have a few stubborn punds that wont come off…most likely due to my lack of exercise:)

If you’re looking for a program weight watchers in a great one. If you’re just looking for tips.. try writing everything you eat down. It will help you loose the weight, seriously that works.

Eat lots and lots of raw vegetables. Get some psyllium and use it daily. Try to walk on a tread mill for 20 minutes twice a day. In six weeks, if you stay with the program, you will lose weight. Find some way to take in protein everyday, too. No sugar, no candy, no dairy, no salt. If you want the weight off, it’s going to take a little work.

I didn’t diet or exersize or do anything out of the ordinary, it just came off by itself. If your ****** feeding, you shouldn’t diet until you’re done. Maybe that’s what helped me, I ****** fed.

I just cut my calories (did not go over 1200 on a daily basis)- I had my baby in October 08 & have about 10 lbs to go- good luck!

Also, did 30 min cardio 2-3x a day.

My biggest thing was I bought child plates b/c we will need them soon anyway. I started putting my food on the childs plate. You get smaller portions but it looks like a full plate. Now that the weather is nicer I have been going on walks with her in her stroller. I try not to keep junk food in the house. But a cafe opened down the hall from my office while I was on maternity leave! He makes the best brownies :( Its aweful smelling that all day and fresh baked bread OH MY! So if I get something with bread he sliced the bread really thin for me too. So its like having two sliced on a sandwich but really its like only one b/c its thin. I also drink 8-10 glasses of either water or unsweetend ice tea a day…along with my 3 cups of coffee! So I *** alot of the bad stuff out I think. I’m doing pretty well.

I also do reps with my baby. She loves and it helps me lift her as she gains weight. I hold her under her arm pits and lift up and down 3 sets of 20 and then push out 3 sets of 20. It has helped me tone my arms and helps me life the darn carseat!

I also lay on my back and put her on my shins and move my legs down and up to my chest and then back down (HOLDING HER THE WHOLE TIME!) That works your legs, but and tummy. She is 6 months and I have about 5 pounds to go but I’m pretty happy and its been pretty easy. I fluctuate back and forth when I just have to have a brownie. I think moderation is the best advice.

I seemed to eat a lot of raw vegetables! I pretty much just watched what I ate, and didn’t eat too many sweets.
I never tried it, but several of my friends said Weight Watchers was great!

I ate veggies and/or fruit with every meal. I didn’t portion-control or anything. But I did continue to walk every day as I had when pregnant (though not as much) — which also helped me recover from my c-section very quickly. Combined with breastfeeding, I was down below pre-pregnancy weight in just a few weeks.

4 ounces of tuna or tilapia
    4 ounces of rice
4 ounce of broccoli or asparagus

    6x a day

I lost 50 lbs eating this for a few months and I worked out but nothing crazy.

Also turkey is great.. I eat ground turkey a lot. .

I basically stayed away from crap, limited my red meats and watched my portions

Add - also they say if you write what you eat down you are more successful. This log I used and still use helps you keep track. It does so much more.. Also helps you eat a well balanced diet.. it is great
