    Hmmm….this is kinda weird question.

    But, I know for fact that American soldiers created the classic “peanut butter and jelly sandwich” during the war. The pairing of bread and jelly is timeless (probably pre-dates the Egyptians). But the soldiers’ rations included peanut butter, so they paired it with the jelly and bread, and the rest is history. It caught on in pop culture after they returned home as it became their favorite snack.
