yahoo was just advertising recipes trying searching in yahoo recipes. Also a good reciped that is very easy is just brown some hamburger meat and cook some white rice or brown rice. make some gravy in the hamburger by using milk and flower and mic it into the meat. then add the rice . its a grat meal and they love it.

    Hey there!

I would seriously suggest talking with a veterinarian or animal nutritionist before venturing out to make your own food.

I noticed that the media did an article on this topic a week ago, yet did not mention any precautions/problems that incorrectly making a home based diet could have.

Creating improperly balanced foods incorrectly can lead to a few medical problems in animals (pancreatitis for example).

Your veterinarian or an animal nutritionist at your local clinic should be able to offer you a safe home-made, healthy diet that will give your pet the nutrients and ingredients needed. They may even be able to construct a diet that will suit your pets specific individual needs.

If you’re looking for a list of good pet food products NOT affected by the recall try this link:

The first recipe is written by a vet the last one has been tested by vet schools and is considered a total diet, it is often used for dogs that have been starved to help regain weight it is not meant to be cooked as cooking will kill off the vitamins

Look for the yahoo group titled :Rawfeeding

It’s free and not only will you find recipes, but a knowledgeable forum to post any questions or seek advice in the process.
