I made a great pot roast, but have about 1.5 pounds left. Any ideas of interesting recipes for the leftover?

    we put ours in the grinder and use it for sandwiches ! put the mayo and relish right in it. we noticed we do need to use an extra amount of salt.

    I always turn mine into stew. I usually have leftover carrots and potatoes along with the meat (if you dont you can just cut some up and throw in) Make a beef broth, throw everything in…viola!

    Beef Pie (use leftover pot roast)

    Ingredients

    * your favorite double-crust pastry
    * leftover pot roast, chunked
    * leftover veggies
    * brown gravy
    * salt and pepper to taste

    Fill your pie with leftover pot roast and veggies. Pout brown gravy evenly around the pie. Top with the other pie crust and seal edges. Poke a fork thru the top a few times accrossed the middle. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

    Open Face Beefy’s:

    Hoagie Rolls toasted.

    Spread Mayo on the toasted roll halves.

    Add the sliced beef to each half.

    Top with fried onions combined with your favorite BBQ sauce and some pepper Jack cheese grated.

    Place under the broiler to heat.

    Enjoy.
